Being located just around 50 km south of the Portuguese capital means that residents of São Francisco Condominium can enjoy easy access to all the facilities and resources that a metropolis like Lisbon offers, including the airport. The journey between the two cities is, therefore, relatively quick, and can be done by car via the A2 motorway, by train via the Fertagus line, or by bus.

Arrábida Natural Park

The Arrábida Natural Park is a biogenetic reserve located on the Setúbal peninsula, covering the municipalities of Palmela, Setúbal and Sesimbra. In addition to Serra da Arrábida, the Park encompasses other elevations such as Serra do Risco, where the highest point on the Portuguese mainland coast is located.

Portinho da Arrábida Beach

It is a rocky beach, becoming more sandy as you walk east (towards Setúbal), bathed by calm and transparent waters, excellent for diving. To the east the sand widens, always accompanied by the green slopes of Serra da Arrábida.

São Filipe Castle

Forte de São Filipe, also known as Castelo de São Filipe and Fortaleza de São Filipe, played a tactical role in reinforcing the defense line of the Portuguese coast, once buffeted by pirates from northern Europe and Africa.

Setúbal Market

Opened in 1930, Mercado do Livramento was considered in 2014, by USA Today, as one of the best fish markets in the world. Inside, the tile panels stand out, depicting the various economic activities of the city of Setúbal.

Tróia

The Tróia tourist complex is easily reachable from Setúbal by ferry. On this peninsula, you will find several sources of leisure, as well as one of the most extensive beaches in Portugal, measuring 18 km long.
